We are introducing a new exciting construction in Revolution... Revolution Plus Performance Fabrics®. It is an unfinished jacquard. What does that mean? You can wash the fabric in the washing machine! This opens up a lot of end uses… top of the bed, slipcover, pillows, dog beds etc!!
We have appropriately named the first pattern Hypnotize… because the possibilities will Hypnotize!
This design is a classic frame with a twist… soft casual ikat lines to the drawing. We are excited about the launch of this new category!
No, not stain resistant lingerie; though that might not be a bad idea…
We’re talking slipcovers!
Now you can turn that dingy old sofa,
back into the beautiful piece of furniture that you've always wanted!
But these aren’t the same old slipcovers you’ve known.
This is an addition to our Revolution Performance Fabrics® collection!
Check out this awesome video about how easy it is to clean:
I’ve been so excited to share this project but I’ve been too busy making slipcover patterns!
So many choices in textures and beautiful colors… even stripes. And this is just the beginning!
You’ll love updating your old furniture with cleanable and beautiful slipcovers!
But face it, you’re still looking at the lingerie picture.
It’s OK… 😄
Over the years, I have been asked “whatcha doing?” when I had yarn skeins out. My answer has been… “coloring". Some people have cutely responded: “make sure you stay in the lines”. Today I am coloring the lines… a new Revolution stripe... Ombre. We are excited about a new collection of stripes that is now in the development phase. The first step in creating a stripe is to come up with the layout. Paying attention to the scale and proportion. The next step is coloring the stripe. A lot of things are taken into consideration in this phase:
How many colorways to do in the style? Red, blue, green, neutral… multi, bright, dull etc.
It is best to follow a formula... light in the same position in every stripe. If you break the formula, you can change the personality of the stripe totally.
“This color looks like a different pattern!” It’s cool to have a job where you color for a living!
