Revolution vs. The Fourth Grade

It is not uncommon to take customers or media on a tour of our mill, but today we had some extra special guests visit STI... a fourth grade class from Gaston Day School!

The students spent the morning getting a firsthand look at how fabric is made. After splitting into groups, they were taken on a full tour of the STI mill and sample center. More importantly, they got to see the magic behind Revolution Performance Fabrics.

The students put Revolution to the test to see how stain resistant and easy to clean it really is. They stained fabric samples with cranberry juice and ketchup, then cleaned it with a little soap and water; the samples looked brand new after a little cleaning! We made sure to tell the students they could NOT do this at home (unless of course they have Revolution)!

The REAL magic happened when they destructed a slipcover made of Revolution Plus Performance Fabrics. The students drew all over the sofa with Magic Marker. Check out the before and after photos!
